Erie Shore Vineyard is located on the banks of Lake Erie and is one of Canada’s southernmost wineries. Established in 1994, the winery has been producing critically acclaimed and award winning estate grown wines from their own grapes since 1999. The winery’s opening to the public in 2002 made it the fifth modern day winery in this region. Enjoy the hospitality of the winery and its scenic views from the pavilion, situated on the 40 acre vineyard property. The onsite shoppe is open year round, with 16 vintages available to purchase. Wine also available by the glass during regular business hours.By using our Essex trip itinerary planner, you can arrange your visit to Erie Shore Vineyard and other attractions in Essex.

This is a small family operation in Essex County’s best wine country. For such a petit winery they have a surprisingly large selection of wines. The staff is always accommodating in the tiny showroom.... more

Small, qauint family vineyard and winery. All the wines we tried were perfect and true to the expectations of thier respective grapes. The vineyard owner did our tasting and her modesty in her extensive knowledge of what influences a wine was the greatest treat of all

This place!! We went to 5 other wineries in the area and absolutely nothing compared to the experience we had here. We spent time talking with the co-owner Harvey who shared great stories of the local area and his passion for the wine he makes with his wife. When all other places seem so industrialized, this winery truly made it feel like the Lake Erie excursion we were looking for. We made sure to leave with a few bottles of the Dockside, a group favourite!! 5/5
