Windsor

— 13 nights
Canada's southernmost city, Windsor continues to play a key role in the country's automotive industry.
Let the collections at Canadian Historical Aircraft Association and Park House Museum capture your imagination. Step off the beaten path and head to Via Italia and Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village. Explore Windsor's surroundings by going to Amherstburg (Bois Blanc Island Lighthouse & Blockhouse, Holiday Beach Conservation Area, &more), Kingsville (Old Dutch Guys Chocolate, Chiaroscuro, &more) and Harrow (John R. Park Homestead & Conservation Area, Oxley Estate Winery, &more). There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Mackenzie Hall, look for all kinds of wild species at Devonwood Conservation Area, learn about winemaking at Sanson Estate Winery, and play a few rounds at Ambassador Golf Club.

For other places to visit, maps, photos, and more tourist information, refer to the Windsor travel route app.

Toronto to Windsor is an approximately 4.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of ferry and flight; or take a train. Expect a daytime high around 20°C in October, and nighttime lows around 9°C. You'll have a few hours on the 12th (Thu) to wrap things up before traveling home.
