Windsor

— 13 nights
Canada's southernmost city, Windsor continues to play a key role in the country's automotive industry.
Let the collections at Canadian Historical Aircraft Association and Mackenzie Hall capture your imagination. Step off the beaten path and head to Via Italia and Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village. Explore Windsor's surroundings by going to Kingsville (Old Dutch Guys Chocolate, Chiaroscuro, &more), Harrow (John R. Park Homestead & Conservation Area, Oxley Estate Winery, &more) and Amherstburg (Park House Museum, Bois Blanc Island Lighthouse & Blockhouse, &more). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Windsor Riverfront, admire the natural beauty at Dieppe Gardens, identify plant and animal life at Devonwood Conservation Area, and play a few rounds at Ambassador Golf Club.

For other places to visit, maps, photos, and more tourist information, refer to the Windsor travel route app.

Toronto to Windsor is an approximately 4.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of ferry and flight; or drive; or take a train. Expect a daytime high around 20°C in October, and nighttime lows around 9°C. You will leave for home on the 12th (Thu).
