Canada's southernmost city, Windsor continues to play a key role in the country's automotive industry.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Sat): take a stroll through Via Italia, identify plant and animal life at Devonwood Conservation Area, then get outside with McAuliffe Woods Conservation Area, and finally tour the pleasant surroundings at Ganatchio Trai.

Toronto to Windsor is an approximately 3.5-hour combination of ferry and flight. You can also drive; or take a train. August in Windsor sees daily highs of 31°C and lows of 19°C at night. You'll have a few hours on the 7th (Sun) to wrap things up before traveling to Pelee Island.
