Windsor

— 3 nights
Canada's southernmost city, Windsor continues to play a key role in the country's automotive industry.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Mackenzie Hall, Colasanti's Tropical Gardens and Canadian Aviation Museum. Get out of town with these interesting Windsor side-trips: Historic Essex Railway Station (in Essex), Leamington (Point Pelee National Park & Pelee Wings Nature Store) and Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village (in Kingsville). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Windsor Riverfront, learn insider's secrets on a distillery tour, get to know the fascinating history of Olde Walkerville Neighborhood, and stroll around Jackson Park.

For where to stay, more things to do, traveler tips, and more tourist information, read Windsor travel planning site.

London to Windsor is an approximately 2.5-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time to Eastern Standard Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. In October, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 9°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Sun) early enough to go by car back home.
