Windsor — 3 nights

Canada's southernmost city, Windsor continues to play a key role in the country's automotive industry.
Attractions like Windsor Riverfront and Ojibway Nature Centre make great kid-friendly stops. Get out of town with these interesting Windsor side-trips: Leamington (Hillman Marsh Conservation Area, Point Pelee National Park, &more), Historic Essex Railway Station (in Essex) and Kingsville (Anna's Garden, Home & Wellness & Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village). There's still lots to do: get to know the fascinating history of Olde Walkerville Neighborhood, contemplate the long history of Willistead Manor, examine the collection at Canadian Aviation Museum, and make a trip to Amherstburg Navy Yard National Historic Site.
