Amherstburg is a town near the mouth of the Detroit River in Essex County, Ontario, Canada. On the 2nd (Sat), make a trip to Amherstburg Navy Yard National Historic Site, contemplate the long history of Fort Malden National Historic Site, then do a tasting at Cooper's Hawk Vineyards and The Vines Restaurant, then do a tasting at Oxley Estate Winery, and finally learn about winemaking at North 42 Degrees Estate Winery & Bistro 42.
