Canada's southernmost city, Windsor continues to play a key role in the country's automotive industry.
Kick off your visit on the 8th (Sun): stroll around Assumption Park, don't miss a visit to Amherstburg Navy Yard National Historic Site, then steep yourself in history at Fort Malden National Historic Site, then deepen your understanding at Ojibway Nature Centre, and finally admire the natural beauty at Coventry Gardens. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 9th (Mon): take in nature's colorful creations at Dieppe Gardens, get to know the fascinating history of Olde Walkerville Neighborhood, gain some tasty knowledge on a distillery tour, then walk around Jackson Park, and finally make a trip to Windsor Riverfront.

Lakeshore is a town on Lake St. Get out of town with these interesting Lakeshore side-trips: Black Bear Farms of Ontario Estate Winery (in Kingsville), Holiday Beach Conservation Area (in Amherstburg) and Harrow (Colchester Ridge Estate Winery, Oxley Estate Winery, &more). There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village, identify plant and animal life at Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary, hike along Big O Conservation Area, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Tremblay Beach Conservation Area.
