Windsor

Canada's southernmost city, Windsor continues to play a key role in the country's automotive industry.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Via Italia and Bois Blanc Island Lighthouse & Blockhouse. Step off the beaten path and head to Mackenzie Hall and Ambassador Golf Club. And it doesn't end there: play a few rounds at Seven Lakes Championship Golf, take in the waterfront activity at Lake View Park, stroll around Reaume Park, and make a trip to Sandwich First Baptist Church.

To find reviews, photos, other places to visit, and tourist information, use the Windsor holiday builder site.

Vancouver to Windsor is an approximately 8.5-hour combination of flight and bus. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 3 hours traveling from Vancouver to Windsor. Traveling from Vancouver in June, you will find days in Windsor are a bit warmer (30°C), and nights are about the same (17°C). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Wed) to allow time to drive to Essex.
