Following this itinerary, you will begin the day joining a fantastic Rum Runner's Tour learning about the Prohibition Era locally.  View the mansions built with rum running profits. An educational, comical, musical bus tour with great food and whisky tasting. From there, head down to Amherstburg to learn about African-Canadians' history, journey and contributions. Afterwards, stop in for dinner at the Salty Dog, a popular dining pub located downtown Amherstburg. From there, end the evening by visiting the Parks Canada - Amherstburg Navy Yard National Historic Site of Canada and view the Detroit River from the shoreline.

Canada's southernmost city, Windsor continues to play a key role in the country's automotive industry.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Amherstburg Navy Yard National Historic Site as well as Amherstburg Freedom Museum. On the 16th (Sat), see the interesting displays at Amherstburg Freedom Museum and then make a trip to Amherstburg Navy Yard National Historic Site.
